Advancing Indigenous Performance: 2020 Conference Scholarship

The Arts Midwest + WAA 2020 Annual Conference is a joint, virtual convening to be held October 6-9, with associated events beginning October 1. The Advancing Indigenous Performance (AIP) Scholarship Fund has been created to cover the cost of registration for eligible US-based Indigenous performing artists and arts organization professionals. We do not want financial considerations to be a barrier to your participation and urge you to apply for this support.

Who is Eligible?

  • Indigenous artists and arts professionals based in the United States. 

Instructions

  • Time is of the essence—act today!
  • Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and the application period will close by October 2nd or once all funds have been awarded.
  • We will process your application within one week.

Terms

  • Funds awarded on a first come-first served basis. Assistance of up to $100 will be awarded with preference to arts professionals laid off or furloughed as a result of the pandemic.
  • If your application is approved, you will receive a discount code for the applicable amount to the current registration rate when you register online.
