Advancing Indigenous Performance: 2020 Conference Scholarship

The Arts Midwest + WAA 2020 Annual Conference is a joint, virtual convening to be held October 6-9, with associated events beginning October 1. The Advancing Indigenous Performance (AIP) Scholarship Fund has been created to cover the cost of registration for eligible US-based Indigenous performing artists and arts organization professionals. We do not want financial considerations to be a barrier to your participation and urge you to apply for this support.

Indigenous artists and arts professionals based in the United States.

Time is of the essence—act today!
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and the application period will close by October 2nd or once all funds have been awarded.
We will process your application within one week.

Terms

Funds awarded on a first come-first served basis. Assistance of up to $100 will be awarded with preference to arts professionals laid off or furloughed as a result of the pandemic.
If your application is approved, you will receive a discount code for the applicable amount to the current registration rate when you register online.
