2020 WESTAF Scholarship
We look forward to your participation and engagement as part of a movement forward of artists, community activators and instigators of creativity at the first-ever collaborative convening of the Arts Midwest + WAA 2020 Annual Conference, October 6-9.
This is a pivotal moment in the arts that challenge us to re-imagine and re-form the practice of convening. Your voice is significant as we continue this journey. The WESTAF Scholarship provides scholarships to attend the 2020 Arts Midwest + WAA Conference for arts professionals, whose experiences and perspectives reflect the multiple communities of the Western United States. Priority will be given to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and those who have been laid off or furloughed due to the pandemic. We do not want financial considerations to be a barrier to participation.
The Western United States is defined as Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai‘i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Who is Eligible?
Artists and arts professionals based in the Western United States regardless of Western Arts Alliance membership are eligible. Preference will be given to BIPOC applicants and those who have been laid off or furloughed as a result of the pandemic.
